What kinds of boards do you repair?
Control boards for split and ducted ACs, washing machines, washer-dryers, refrigerators, tumble dryers and microwaves — single-layer and multi-layer boards. If a board is damaged beyond repair (burnt through or delaminated), we will show you and quote a replacement instead.
Is PCB repair cheaper than a new board?
In most cases, yes — component-level repair typically costs a fraction of a new original board, and for older models it may be the only option when boards are discontinued. You receive the quote before we start, so the decision is yours.
How long does a board repair take?
Simple faults like relays and capacitors are often repaired the same day. Complex multi-layer or intermittent faults need bench testing and can take two to three days — we keep you updated on WhatsApp throughout.
Will a repaired board last?
We replace failed components with correctly rated parts and bench-test the board under load before refitting. Where the original failure was caused by something outside the board — a power surge or a shorting motor — we will point it out, because fixing the board alone would not stop it happening again.
How do you diagnose a faulty control board?
The board is powered on the bench and worked through section by section — power supply, relays, sensor inputs and outputs — comparing readings against what the appliance should be doing. Intermittent boards are heat and load tested, because a board that only fails when hot will pass a quick cold check.
Can a burnt PCB track or board be repaired?
Burnt tracks and dry joints can usually be rebuilt and reinforced, and failed components replaced with correctly rated parts. A board that is burnt through, delaminated or fire-damaged across multiple layers cannot be made reliable — we show you the damage and quote a replacement board instead of attempting a repair that would not last.
